Upcoming Lecture Series on Forest Health in Placerville

FOREST HEALTH – BALANCING WILDLIFE NEEDS AND FIRE HAZARD REDUCTION IN THE CENTRAL SIERRA NEVADA

This educational program will feature presentations by foresters, wildlife biologists and environmental specialists that will describe prescriptions and best management practices for achieving reduced fuel loads in forested environments while maintaining and potentially enhancing habitat for wildlife.

The event is sponsored by: Society for American Foresters; El Dorado County and Georgetown Resource Conservation District; University of California Cooperative Extension, El Dorado County; California Department of Fish and Game; and US Fish and Wildlife Service.
