You are invited to attend the CALIFORNIA FIRE
ALLIANCE DIRECTORS & STATE FIRE SAFE COUNCIL BOARD MEETING. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from 10 a.m to 7 p.m at the US Forest Service Fire Training and Conference Center 3237 Peace Keeper Way McClellan (Sacramento) CA 95652.

From 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. there will be a an open session with the CFSC Board of Directors and Fire Alliance Leadership Group. This session will feature local fire safe council speakers as well as Alliance member speakers. There will be a Question and Answer period at the end of the day. We look forward to seeing you there.

You are invited to an open forum in Sacramento that will include non-profit organizations presenting community success stories about how they are reducing fire hazards in the wildland-urban interface. This meeting is being hosted by the Executive leaders of the California Fire Alliance. You will have an opportunity to mingle with federal and state directors and other Fire Alliance executives and fire safe council members. This will be an opportunity to learn about new programs and upcoming grants.

If you would like to highlight your program there will be tables available for you to set up displays and/or brochures. Contact Jane Arteaga at 916-978-4436 if you would like to reserve space.

Directions :
Exit Interstate 80 on the Watt Avenue Exit.
Go North on Watt Avenue (go under the railroad tracks).
Turn left at the first light onto Peace Keeper Way.
The training facility is on the right-hand side and takes up most of the block. The building is located at the corner of Peace Keeper Way and Dudley.
