Butte County officials announced today that a Local Assistance Center will be opened to help fire victims. The center will be located at the Municipal Auditorium.

The Yankee Hill Fire Safe Council will be providing transportation to the local assistance center for those that need it. A sign-up sheet will be posted at the Pines Hardware Store today.
